This Home Page is about my research interests and the occasional opinions I might have on Computer Science related issues. My research has almost always been involved with the relationship of people to computers. This has covered the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Socio-Economic Development (ICT4D) and related social aspects such as ICT policy. I have been active in the field of User Experience as it relates to Virtual Environments and Games. I am now retired from day to day involvement in the UCT Computer Science Department. |
