Welcome to the SONET Project home page. SONET is a research tool desgined to allow for the analysis of communication patterns of students in online course sites.It consists of three subsystems developed by the three project team members repectively. Each subsystem focusses on one of the aspects of the project, namely, social network analaysis, bayesian classification and visualisation. See Figure 1 below for an overview of the subsystems and the relevant work allocation.
