Current Project (XAMOBILE-IM)
My research is "A comparison of text input methods on mobile devices for historical African languages" and the language of concern is |Xam language of the San people of Southern Africa. This language is one of the many resource-scarce languages of Africa. My research objective is to empower people to be able to input text of languages that falls under this category on a mobile device.
A strong sense of responsibility and a wish to perform excellently at all times resulted in my love of studying mathematics. After my secondary education, I obtained a National Diploma (OND) in Computer Science (2001) from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Engineering (2010) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Presently I am a MSc researcher at the Digital Laboratory under the supervision of A/Professor Hussein Suleman at the department of Computer Science, University of Cape Town, South Africa..
